I finally got to that fantastic FMV of the Sephiroth-Genesis-Angeal 3-way fight on Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. I've embedded the Youtube version here, which doesn't quite do it justice. The scene looks absolutely gorgeous on the PSP.

I hooked up the TV component cable to my new PSP. Aedis Eclipse wasn't as sharp as I would like, but Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core was utterly gorgeous. It's like staring at good PS2 graphics. Squeenix certainly upped the pixel count for this game. I managed to complete the first plot mission with barely a scrape (YAY!), and Sephiroth showed up ( Read more... )

Hmmm...levelling up on experience and skills by participating in battles and quests. Instead of fancy fingerwork (read: button-mashing combos), we get a system which makes use of different moves based on distance between opponents.
